This was the first operetta I directed and I fell in love with the genre and went on to direct and adapt every operetta I thought could possibly still work. I was fortunate that the ones I chose did.
The Student Prince is unique in that it really tugs at the heart and it’s sweet story is quite touching not to mention the glorious music. I did this show twice at Paper Mill and various places around the country.
