I really enjoyed revamping this most famous operetta of them all. I started this journey at Darien Dinner Theatre (yes – I made operettas very popular in dinner theatre) then it went on to Paper Mill and finally to New York City opera where was filmed. Through the course of this journey, I fashioned an ultra romantic, sexy and classy tribute to the work of Franz Lehar. I squeezed every ounce out of every note and lyric that I could. I am very proud of the final result.
